Children between the ages of 0 and 6 years old are in a period of great physical growth, and as they grow, the types of physical movements they make gradually increase, such as crawling, stumbling, stomping, thumping, and thudding. We want to create a space where it is fun for children to run, move slowly, and stop so that they can enjoy these changes. When children chase after things in motion, such as butterflies or leaves flowing in a river, there is a rhythm in the space that makes them want to run, walk slowly, and chase after the changes.
